AJC: New Atlanta police precinct opens in Buckhead Village
Promise made, promise kept. Shortly after taking office, Mayor Dickens pledged to open a new precinct in Buckhead Village to enable improved on-the-ground policing in the community. In June, Mayor Dickens joined Gov. Brian Kemp, police leadership and community and business leaders to cut the ribbon on the new precinct where officers are serving the community.
