Zone 5 and GA Tech PD Team-Up-Make Significant Arrest of Street Racer
On July 9, Zone 5 units responded to several calls regarding street racers occupying the area of 17th St. and 14th St. When the driver of a Dodge Charger attempted to flee, he was apprehended by officers. The driver, a Loganville resident, was arrested. Officers recovered a loaded firearm and marijuana from the vehicle following the arrest. The vehicle was impounded, and he was transported to Atlanta City Corrections without incident.
