AJC: Homicide pace continues to slow in Atlanta
After a midyear tally showed homicides were down in Atlanta for the first time in four years, the pace continues to slow, according to crime data. The year-to-date homicide count hit 101 on September 24, 2023. By contrast, Atlanta homicides hit the 100 mark on August 10, 2022 and on August 21, 2021.
