Fox 5: Atlanta police, fire discusses Holiday Public Safety Plan
The City of Atlanta launched Operation Deep Freeze in advance of the holiday season. During a November 2023 press conference, Mayor Dickens joined Atlanta Police Chief Schierbaum and Atlanta Fire and Rescue Chief Smith to detail the operation. They also discussed that overall crime and violent crime are both down in Atlanta thanks to the City’s whole-of-government approach to public safety.
